Q: Are you insured?
Yes, we are delighted to be one of few fully insured inflatable companies in Co. Kerry. Our insurance is with Arachas insurance and we are thrilled to be able to return to corporate and community hall hires. A copy of insurance is available on request.
Q: How do I book?
To book with KR Bouncy Castles, click on the Inflatables page, browse through our selection of castles and book online. Alternatively give us a call on 0664013101.
Q: How much notice do I need to give you for a booking?
You may book online at your convenience. We would require 24-hour notice for next day delivery. Please be aware, during peak season we are very busy so as much notice as possible is helpful and this will help to avoid any disappointment of the equipment already being booked.
Q: How much does it cost?
All prices are available on our website. All areas outside of North Kerry have minimum hire costs. Please click the buttons to see our delivery charges.
Kerry | Limerick | Cork
Q: What do the prices include?
The price includes free delivery & installation of the inflatable by our professional team and collection of the inflatable later that day/night. KR Bouncy Castles also provide our customers with extension cables free of charge.
Q: What sort of surface do you need for the inflatable?
Inflatables situated outdoors need to be set up on a flat surface preferably a grassy area where the unit can be staked down. The area must be clear of sharp objects such as rocks etc., not muddy or covered in dog's mess. We reserve the right to cancel the booking and not install our equipment on unsuitable ground. Slides and obstacle courses must be placed on grass only unless the special occasion is being held indoors.
Q: Can the bouncy castles go indoors?
Yes, the bouncy castles can go indoors but you must check the height of the ceiling and the area before booking.
Q: How long do I get the equipment for?
If you are hiring mid-week (Tuesday to Thursday) your inflatable will be delivered either on Monday evening or Tuesday morning. Collection will be Thursday evening. If you are hiring at the weekend (Saturday & Sunday) your inflatable will be delivered either on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. Collection will be Sunday evening. We will always try to facilitate our customer with delivery and collection times. If you have booked a hall for your party, we can accommodate special delivery times providing it is confirmed at time of booking. We usually just need 30 minutes to set up before your party starts e.g. if your party is starting at 2pm in a hall. We would need for you to organise with hall management / care takers that they will be there at 1:15pm - 1:30pm to open the hall for us.
Q: Is it safe?
The safety of our customers is always our prime concern as well as making sure everyone has as much fun as possible. All our operators have been fully trained to ensure your attraction is professionally run, but also to provide real entertainment and value for money at the same time.
Q. Do I have to pay a deposit?
Only during First Holy Communion season is there a minimum of €50 required as a deposit. Outside of this time period if a customer feels more satisfied to have a deposit in place, we will be more than happy to oblige. Give us a call on 0664013101 and we will arrange to take the deposit over the phone.
Q: How do I pay?
Most people choose to pay cash or card on delivery, but we also accept cheque made out to MAKCR Ventures Limited. You also have the option to pay online when processing your booking or afterwards by calling the office and paying over the phone.
Q: What if I need to cancel?
You can cancel without incurring any charges at any time up until the van leaves our premises to deliver your castle.
Q: What happens if it rains?
If we have concerns for the weather we will call either the morning of the hire or the evening before to see if you still want the inflatable (If you decide to cancel due to weather at this stage there will be no cancellation fee). If you decide on delivery and you do not want the inflatable, we will have to charge to cover our travelling cost. We cannot accept any responsibility for weather conditions once we have delivered and set up and no refunds will be given.
Q: How long does it take to set up/inflate/deflate/pack up the inflatable?
The bouncy castles take approx. 15 minutes to set up and 20 minutes to pack up by our efficient team. However, this is only an estimate, times may vary depending on which castle you hire as larger units and multiple hires take longer.
Q: How much space is needed?
We need a 3ft wide clear access to deliver most castles. The space needed for each castle is different. Please call us if you are unsure about having enough space for your choice of castle.
Q: Is there anything I need to do before the inflatable arrives?
Before your inflatable arrives, you need to make sure that the area in which your inflatable is going is clean (animal droppings) and clear from any sharp objects. Also please move all furniture (garden furniture, swings, play sets) & wheelie bins so as not to cause obstruction.
Q: Are your units clean?
Yes. Due to COVID-19 we have increased our cleaning procedure using ZOONO Technology which is a sanitiser mist / fog that we use on all our castles every 30 days. This is trialed and tested to kill any viruses or bacteria for 30 days and then the process of application starts again. All our bouncy castles and inflatables are clean after each hire. We are committed to making sure that your children are playing in a clean, healthy, and safe environment.
Q: When I hire the castle is there anything I need to provide?
We supply all the hardware you will need for the castle; you will need to provide a mains 13amp socket power supply. (a standard electric socket). If you are getting an obstacle you will need two free power sockets and if it's the 60ft obstacle course you will need three. Be sure to arrange one before we arrive and not next to where the kettle will be plugged in.
Q: What days are you open?
Our office is open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
Q: How much electricity do the air fans consume?
Not very much, usually around two Euros electric per day. It is important to remember that the inflation fan is kept running all day..
